Aerial view of Penzance featuring Jubilee Pool and the Battery Rocks at low tide. Battery Rocks, a favourite sea-swimming spot since 19th century, is the rocky headland to the south of Penzance harbour where the pool is situated. It forms part of Pen Sans (Holy Headland) after which Penzance is named.
