Joe at the Jubilee Pool

Joe was an evacuee boy from London who worked at the café which was then run by Councillor Cowan-Dickie. This photo shows Joe on the weekend when sailors from the Western Union Fleet, which was anchored in Mount's Bay, visited the pool.
